Kevin Cumings |
|
Kevin serves
as Vice-President of Group Benefits and is responsible for
managing the Life & Health Department at Buiten & Associates,
LLC. As a licensed agent in health & life insurance,
Kevin advises businesses as well as individuals in employee
benefits and any individual insurance needs.
He earned his
Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation from the
American College and serves on the board of the West Michigan
Association of Health Underwriters. Kevin has a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University, a Master
of Divinity degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a
Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Loyola
University Chicago. |

Peg Stephens |

Peg has specialized in life and
health insurance since 1984, receiving her license in 1985 and
began employment with Buiten & Associates in 2000.
As a
Customer Service Representative, Peg’s responsibilities include
new business quoting and processing, group renewals, employee
benefit meetings and enrollments and ongoing customer service to
employer groups.
Peg has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education
and resides with her husband in Cascade Township. |

Lisa DeBoer |

Lisa DeBoer has been an account
manager at Buiten & Associates since November 1999. Prior to
the insurance world, she worked in customer service and as an
elementary teacher for several years.
Her role includes
servicing larger clients by answering questions, preparing
renewals, assisting with group employee meetings, and an
assortment of other responsibilities.
When she’s not working,
she enjoys spending time in her garden. |

Linda joined Buiten & Associates in 2004 as a Small Group
Customer Service Representative. She has an additional 19 years
Administrative Management experience with a Group Life and
Health Insurance Carrier. Linda handles all servicing aspects
of Group Life and Health, including quotes, new business and
renewals as well as billing and claim questions, for companies
who employ 2 – 10 people.
As a licensed agent in Life and
Health, Linda delivers outstanding service to group
administrators and their employees and has an excellent
relationship with insurance carriers. |

Kristy May |

Kris works in the Life & Health
department at Buiten & Associates as a customer service
representative for groups of 2-10.
As a licensed agent in health
and life, Kris has been in the insurance industry for the past
eight years working as a claim representative and supervisor in
a customer service department for previous employers.
She earned
a degree in education from Grand Valley State University.
During
her spare time Kris enjoys golfing, shopping and relaxing at her
home on a lake. She has been married for 26 years to husband
Rich and has two daughters Kellie and Lisa. |

With 15 years experience in both group and individual health
insurance, Sarah started at Buiten & Associates in November
2001. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
from Randolph-Macon College.
She is responsible for servicing all existing and prospective
individual health and life insurance clients. As a licensed
agent, she is well equipped to answer your questions. |
